Erling Haaland will represent City for the 200th time in this afternoon’s Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth.

At the outset of his fifth season with City, the Norwegian is already the fourth highest scorer in our history, netting 162 times in his first 199 outings.

He’s won nine major honours in that time, comprising of two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one of each in the Champions League, League Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

The 26-year-old has claimed three Premier League Golden Boots in four seasons, including a record breaking 36 strikes in 2022/23.

That debut campaign is his crowning achievement at the Etihad Stadium thus far, playing a pivotal role in our historic Treble success.

In total that year, he broke the Club record for most goals in a single season with 52 strikes in 53 games.

He was recognised far and wide for his achievements that term, claiming the Premier League Player of the Season, FWA Footballer of the Year, PFA Player of the Year and Etihad Player of the Season gongs.

He backed that up in 2023/24, netting 38 goals in 45 outings including another Golden Boot grabbing 27 in the Premier League.

Even during a tougher campaign in 2024/25, the No.9 still scored 34 times across 48 appearances.

A third Golden Boot came in 2025/26, with another 27 strikes from 35 games in the Premier League and 38 goals in total.

That leaves a Premier League tally of 112 in just four years, with only 24 men ever finding the net more in the English top-flight since the 1992 rebrand.

His stats are one thing, but Haaland’s pace, power and finishing prowess have been a marvel throughout his stellar career to date.

The Norwegian’s insatiable hunger for goals has already placed him as one of the finest centre forwards the game has ever known.

Whether shrugging off defenders in the box, finding space amongst a crowd or bursting into space like few others can, our No.9 is the complete striker.

Sitting just four behind Tommy Johnson and 15 back from Eric Brook in terms of goals for City, it’s highly conceivable that he will become our second most prolific marksman ever in this campaign.

Of course, Sergio Aguero’s 260 efforts remains a long way off but with a contract until 2034, who’s to say what final total is possible?

Congratulations to Erling on this latest milestone!
