The most eye-catching is ‘Most Goals in a Premier League season’ , where he surpassed Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole’s previous best of 34. He now stands on 36, with three games remaining in 2022/23.
De Bruyne won the prize in 2019/20 and 2021/22 and could become the first player in Premier League history to win three Player of the Season awards.
He has scored seven goals this term and produced 16 assists, which is just four short of the all-time single-season record.
