Haaland and De Bruyne are on the shortlist, alongside Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Martin Odegaard (Arsenal), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United).
Our star duo have been integral in our search for honours this season as we battle for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.
Haaland has been a revelation in his first season in the Premier League, breaking a host of records along the way.
The most eye-catching is ‘Most Goals in a Premier League season’ , where he surpassed Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole’s previous best of 34. He now stands on 36, with three games remaining in 2022/23.
De Bruyne won the prize in 2019/20 and 2021/22 and could become the first player in Premier League history to win three Player of the Season awards.
He has scored seven goals this term and produced 16 assists, which is just four short of the all-time single-season record.
