Erling Haaland’s three-goal performance against Manchester United has seen him named Fantasy Premier League King of the Gameweek.

The Norwegian grabbed his third successive home Premier League treble in his first Manchester derby as Pep Guardiola’s men ran out 6-3 winners.

City’s emphatic win means we remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, with Haaland’s goal tally for the season now standing at an astonishing 17 in just 11 appearances.

The striker was once again at the centre of a memorable win at the Etihad, grabbing a first half brace alongside Phil Foden to see us in four goals to the good at the break.

Haaland completed his hat-trick just after the hour before setting up Foden for his third of the afternoon as well ten minutes later.

Taking into account his three goals, two assists and maximum performance bonus, the Norwegian finished Gameweek Nine with an incredible 23 points to his name.

It’s the second time the forward has been named King of the Gameweek, having also scored a hat-trick in our August victory over Nottingham Forest.

Unsurprisingly, he’s joined by Foden in the Team of the Week, with the midfielder’s treble earning him 19 points.
