Having joined City from Borussia Dortmund last summer, the Norwegian striker has enjoyed the most extraordinary debut season at the Etihad.
With 52 goals to his credit already across all competitions, the 22-year-old has shattered a host of records along the way and proved one of the key catalysts in City’s remarkable third successive league title triumph - their fifth in six years under Pep Guardiola.
Haaland’s goals have also proved instrumental in firing City through to the FA Cup and Champions League finals too.

Ahead of our penultimate Premier League game away at Brighton on Wednesday, the striker took time out to reflect on his extraordinary first season at the Etihad which saw him collect his first Premier League winners’ medal on Sunday.
And Haaland specifically pointed to the key role played by everyone at the Club in helping him seek to continually look to further drive his improvement and strive to be the best he can be.
“The environment allows me to be myself every day,” Erling asserted.
“There are hungry people around me that want to become better every single day and want to help me to become better every single day.
“That is where everything starts from.
“From Pep, to the physios, to everyone, we want to help each other.
“We want to have a good time together and we want to make every single person in the club better.
“That is the most important thing.

“Lifting the title was an unreal feeling. A fantastic moment.
“It was so nice to lift the trophy and I am so happy.
“I was just happy all of the time and smiling. I woke up in the morning with a big smile and I went to bed with a big smile!
“It was just a happy day.”
Back in August, Haaland marked his Premier League debut by scoring a brace of goals to help City win 2-0 at West Ham and has never looked back since.
Reflecting on helping City retain the league title, he spoke about his sense of professional pride and accomplishment.
And he admitted his Dad Alfie, a huge former City favourite himself, had shared in his title joy.
“It has been an amazing journey, ever since my first game in August,” Haaland admitted.
“It is the toughest league, the most difficult league, every single game is tough.
“But we managed to win it and that is what has really been on my mind the whole season.
“All of my teammates have won it in the last few years and I wanted to do the same.
“Hopefully my Dad is proud and hopefully he is happy for me winning my first Premier League.
“Of course, he looked really happy on Sunday, so I think he is happy.
“I am happy to have him around me, I am happy to have him helping me and he is someone I can speak to every day.”
