The 22-year-old also scooped the the Premier League Player of the Year and becomes the first player to win both awards in the same season.
He has already won the 2023 Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award and has also been shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Season and PFA Young Player of the Season prizes.
“I am honoured to have become the first player to win both awards in the same season – thank you to everyone who voted for me,” he said.
“It has been an incredible first season in the Premier League and lifting the trophy last weekend in front of our fans at the Etihad was a very special moment for me.
“These awards would not have been possible without my amazing team-mates, the manager and all of the staff at the club who help me perform on the pitch. Now we have two more finals to go and we want to finish the season strong.”
Haaland has enjoyed a remarkable debut season in England, scoring 36 league goals in just 35 appearances to break the 29-year record for most strikes in a single Premier League campaign.
His goals helped us to a third Premier League title in a row while we have also secured a place in the finals of the FA Cup and Champions League next month.
The Premier League Young Player of the Season was first awarded in 2019/20 and has been won in the past two years by Phil Foden.

The other nominees on this year’s shortlist were Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard, Brighton pair Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister, and Newcastle United’s Sven Botman and Alexander Isak.
