However, there can be only three and therefore John Stones, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland are all up for the vote this month – and here’s why...
John Stones
Two goals, one assist and a host of top performances ensured Stones made the shortlist this month.
The England defender has been in quite magnificent form for much of the season and is one of our most popular players.
His stunning strike against Leicester and soaring header against Arsenal were crucial goals at crucial moments.
Stones is a strong contender for the April vote.

Kevin De Bruyne
Three goals and five assists… just your average month for KDB!
Our master craftsman has peaked at the perfect time, with some of his performances in April simply breathtaking.
His two goals against Arsenal were sublime and it was from his free-kick that Stones doubled the Blues’ lead in the same game.
He began the month with a goal and an assist against Liverpool, then set City on the way at Southampton with a delightful back post cross that Erling Haaland scored from.
He laid on Haaland’s second goal as City blitzed the Foxes in the opening 25 minutes and it was his ball to the Norwegian away to Bayern Munich that ended with another vital goal at the Allianz Arena.
Will Kevin get your vote?

Erling Haaland
Haaland has been in irrepressible form during April (and all season for that matter).
But this month has proved what a fantastic team player he is.
With seven goals and three assists, our Norwegian goal machine has enjoyed a wonderful month.
His partnership with De Bruyne has blossomed to become one of the most lethal in European football and he has moved on to 49 goals for the campaign ahead of the trip to Fulham.
Two goals against Saints, a goal and assist at home to Bayern, two goals against Leicester, a goal away to Bayern and then a goal and two assists against Arsenal.
Stunning.

So, who will you vote for?
The poll is open now and closes at 10am on Monday, May 1.
