With four goals and four assists last month, De Bruyne’s stellar contribution was always going to be hard to beat.
It means our gifted playmaker has now won three out of the last four Etihad monthly awards, following Bernardo’s triple win of successive awards earlier in the campaign.

Bernardo finished third in the April poll, but both he and De Bruyne are likely to feature strongly in the Etihad Player of the Season vote which launches later this week.
