Erling Haaland has been voted Etihad Player of the Month for October.

The Norwegian saw off the sizeable challenges of Rico Lewis and Phil Foden to claim his first POTM award of the 2023/24 campaign.

Haaland grabbed five goals in as many matches across the month, including a brace in our memorable 3-0 Manchester derby win at Old Trafford.

Our number nine kept his cool from the penalty spot to hand City the lead, before heading home Bernardo Silva’s cross at the back post to extend the lead in the second half.

He was also at the double in the UEFA Champions League as Pep Guardiola‘s men came away from a difficult clash at RB Leipzig with all three points.

And once again the forward was among the goals in a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brighton, firing home the game’s decisive goal at the Etihad Stadium with a typically clinical finish.

By the end of October, Haaland’s goal tally stood at a 13 goals in 15 matches in all competitions, while he also leads the Premier League scoring charts once again with 11 strikes in as many fixtures.

Congratulations to Erling on his latest accolade, and thank you to everyone who voted!
