The votes are in, and you have spoken in your thousands…

The first round of voting for the Etihad Player of the Season has now ended.

The entire first team squad were included in the opening phase of the process, with the three players with the most votes going into the final round – and now we can reveal who our Final Three are…

Rodrigo

Games: 48

Goals: 8

Assists: 14

Minutes played: 4,147

What can we say about our midfield colossus?

Rodrigo is completely integral to everything City do and over the past few seasons, he’s arguably become the best holding midfielder in the world.

He perhaps doesn’t get the recognition he richly deserves from outside our Club, but you won’t find anyone connected with City who doesn’t hold the Spaniard in the highest regard.

Intelligent, combative and a natural leader, Rodrigo has had yet another magnificent campaign.

Will our No,16 get your vote?

Phil Foden

Games: 51

Goals: 25

Assists: 14

Minutes played: 4,096

One of our own, as the song goes, Phil Foden has enjoyed the best season of his career so far.

Still only 23, our super-talented playmaker has been irrepressible all campaign and with 25 goals in all competitions so far, his contribution has been immense.

Capable of scoring spectacular strikes from anywhere around the box, he brings an irresistible energy to this City team.

And assisting 14 goals for his team-mates is further evidence of his all-round excellence that has made him indispensable to Pep Guardiola.

Already winner of the prestigious Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award, can Foden add his first ever Etihad Player of the Season prize to his ever-growing collection of honours?

Erling Haaland

Games: 43

Goals: 38

Assists: 5

Minutes played: 3,565

Following up a stunning debut campaign of 52 goals in 53 games was always going to be a huge ask for our Norwegian striker.

Injury problems also disrupted his progress at times this season, but Haaland has still managed to score an incredible 38 goals in 43 games - with two games still to go.

He is just 10 shy of 100 goals in two seasons and will continue smashing national and Club records as he goes.

A goal-scoring phenomenon, can Erling make it successive Etihad Player of the Season wins?

Three outstanding candidates, but there can be only one winner – who will you vote for?

The poll is NOW OPEN and closes on Sunday 26 May at noon (UK).
