Find out who the Scout is backing to flourish in Gameweek 19 of Fantasy Premier League as City travel to Everton.

Pep Guardiola’s team return to domestic action with a trip to Goodison Park after being crowned 2023 FIFA Club World Cup winners in Saudi Arabia.

A 4-0 victory over Fluminense in the global showpiece secured the victory, but we will need to be at our best once again if we are to claim three points on Merseyside against a resurgent Toffees.

Sean Dyche’s team have won four of their last five matches - scoring nine goals and conceding just twice across them.

With fixtures coming thick and fast throughout the winter period, there are plenty of points FPL managers could pick up across the next few weeks.

And our latest Scout report is ready to view below ahead of Tuesday 26 December’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR

Julian Alvarez (£6.8m) can be the perfect Christmas gift for Fantasy Premier League managers when City visit Everton in Gameweek 19.

The Argentinean had a starring role for Pep Guardiola’s side in their FIFA Club World Cup triumph last week, scoring twice and supplying an assist in a 4-0 win over Fluminese.

Alvarez’s assist against Luton Town in his last Premier League match was his 12th attacking return of the season, already equalling his total from the previous campaign.

The underlying numbers further highlight his all-round prospects.

El Arana’s 40 chances created are at least 11 more than any team-mate this term, while his 41 shots are second only to the 58 of Erling Haaland (£13.9m).

ONE TO WATCH

Dwight McNeil (£5.4m) is among Everton’s form assets, with two goals and two assists in his previous five appearances.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi (£4.4m) and Tottenham Hotspur’s Brennan Johnson (£5.8m) are low-owned assets with strong form and fixtures.

Senesi hosts Fulham on the back of two goals, an assist, two clean sheets and 34 points in his last three matches.

Johnson supplied two assists in Gameweek 18 and faces a Brighton & Hove Albion side who have yet to keep a clean sheet.
