Who has the Scout tipped for Fantasy Premier League success ahead of City's clash at Everton?

Pep Guardiola‘s men travel to Merseyside on Saturday 26 February, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK).

Although Everton currently sit 16th in the table, the Toffees have won each of their two home matches since Frank Lampard took charge at the end of January.

On the other hand, City remain unbeaten on our travels in the Premier League since the opening day of the season, leaving FPL managers with some difficult selection decisions ahead of Friday’s 18:30 deadline.

However, rest assured that the Scout is on hand to provide one City player, one opponent and another Premier League star they’re tipping for success in Gameweek 26.

Check out the latest FPL Scout Report below...

CITY STAR

A visit to Everton gives Riyad Mahrez (£8.7m) the chance to extend his prolific run of form in Fantasy Premier League.

The Algerian’s strike against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend took his tally to six goals, three assists and 63 points in his last seven outings.

He has produced all four of his double-figure hauls in Fantasy from Gameweek 17 onwards, highlighting his explosive potential for Saturday evening’s clash at Goodison Park.

The underlying numbers also show Mahrez’s all-round influence on the City attack in that period.

His 15 shots in the box and 15 chances created both ranked among the top three players for Guardiola’s side.

Indeed, when selected this season, Mahrez has been involved in a team-leading 39 per cent of City’s goals.

OPPONENT TO WATCH

Winger Anthony Gordon (£4.5m) is the Toffees’ form player, with three goals, an assist and 30 points in his last three home matches.

OTHER PREMIER LEAGUE PICK

Elsewhere, Wout Weghorst (£6.5m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.7m) offer strong captaincy picks in Fantasy.

Weghorst’s potential is boosted by a Double Gameweek 27 for Burnley against Crystal Palace and Leicester City, the Dutchman having earned 15 points in Double Gameweek 26.

Manchester United’s Fernandes welcomes Watford on the back of successive double-figure returns.
