Should we progress, the semi-finals are provisionally scheduled across the weekend of Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July with the FA Cup Final set to be played on Saturday 1 August.

City’s defence of the trophy began with comprehensive home victories over Port Vale and Fulham, who were beaten 4-1 and 4-0 respectively.

Sergio Aguero scored the only goal in our fifth round eclipse of Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough to set up our last eight meeting with Newcastle.
