Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 5 February, with kick-off scheduled for 16:30 (UK).
We come into the meeting with the north London side buoyed by back-to-back victories in all competitions after successes against Wolves in the league (3-0) and Arsenal in the FA Cup (1-0).
And we could apply further pressure to the table-topping Gunners with a victory over Spurs this weekend.
However, three points are far from a formality if our previous encounter with Antonio Conte’s side is anything to go by.
In the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium, City completed an epic comeback after coming from two-goals down to win 4-2.
Harry Kane and Emerson Royal both scored for the visitors within the final five minutes of the first half, before we were quick out the blocks after the interval.
Goals from Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez by 63-minutes turned the tie on its head - and we didn’t look back from there.
The Algerian ace then bagged his second of the evening to seal an important victory at home.
Spurs also enter the meeting off the back of consecutive victories, which has seen them pull closer to the top-four and progress to Round Five of the FA Cup.
It leaves FPL managers with plenty to ponder ahead of Friday 3 February’s 18:30 (UK) deadline.
CITY STAR
A visit to Spurs gives Jack Grealish (£6.8m) the chance to continue his fine away form in Gameweek 22 of FPL
The City winger has produced all his attacking returns this season, two goals and four assists, on the road.
He has averaged 6.3 points per match (ppm) on his travels, compared with just 1.9 ppm at the Etihad Stadium.
Notably, Grealish has massively influenced proceedings since domestic action returned in Gameweek 17.
He has been involved in four of our five away goals during that period, scoring one and assisting a further three.
The underlying numbers further highlight his growing influence on Pep Guardiola’s attack.
His 11 shots and 10 shots in the box place second among team-mates from Gameweek 17 onwards, while his 10 chances created rank third.
ONE TO WATCH
Harry Kane (£11.7m) is Spurs’ main threat, with four goals and two assists in his previous six outings.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, Wilfried Gnonto (£5.0m) and Daniel Podence (£5.3m) have the form to offer strong differentials.
Leeds United’s electric winger faces both Nottingham Forest and Manchester United on the back of three goals in his last five in all competitions.
Podence has scored three of Wolves’ four goals under Julen Lopetegui ahead of a home clash with Liverpool.
