Find out who the scout is championing in Gameweek 30 of Fantasy Premier League as City travel to Southampton.

Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the south coast on Saturday 8 April – with kick-off scheduled for 17:30 (UK) – buoyed by our 4-1 victory over Liverpool last time out.

In what was our first assignment since returning from the March international break, we came from behind to record a strong victory over Jurgen Klopp’s team at the Etihad Stadium.

Julian Alvarez cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s opener ahead of half-time, before further goals from Kevin De Buryne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish secured a vital three points.

However, against a Saints side battling to preserve their top-flight status, victory is far from a formality at St Mary’s Stadium.

Since Ruben Selles replaced Nathan Jones in the Saints dugout, they’ve picked up eight points – including an enthralling 3-3 draw with Spurs last time out at home.

In the reverse fixture at the Etihad in October, we recorded an impressive 4-0 victory.

But, we were on the wrong side of the result in our previous meeting – losing 2-0 away from home in the Carabao Cup quarter-final in January.

And there are plenty of decisions FPL managers need to make ahead of Saturday 8 April’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

Learn who the scout is backing this weekend below…

CITY STAR

Jack Grealish (£6.9m) has the form to reward his growing band of owners in Gameweek 30 of Fantasy Premier League.

The City winger visits Southampton on the back of his highest haul of the season against Liverpool last weekend.

The 27-year-old scored once and supplied an assist in the 4-1 win to collect 12 points.

That display has made him the top target in midfielder ahead of Saturday’s 11:00 (UK) deadline, transferred in by 160,000+ new owners.

Grealish’s influence on our attack has significantly increased since the return of domestic action in Gameweek 17.

He has scored three of his four goals this term, and supplied six of his seven assists, from that point.

Indeed, his 66 points place second only to the 80 points of Erling Haaland (£12.0m) among City stars during that period.

ONE TO WATCH

Theo Walcott (£4.8m) was the hosts’ key player in their previous home match, producing a goal and an assist in Saints’ 3-3 draw with Spurs.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy (£9.1m) and Leeds United’s Jack Harrison (£5.7m) have favourable home matches to reward managers looking for a differential.

Vardy made his first start since January in their midweek defeat to Aston Villa, ahead of the Foxes’ encounter with Bournemouth.

Harrison hosts Crystal Palace on the back of three goals, an assist and 30 points in his last four outings.
