Fernandinho made his 260th Premier League appearance in our 4-0 win over Leeds United on Saturday, which means has played more games in the competition than any other Brazilian.
The 36-year-old came off the bench in the second half to replace Rodri and fired home our fourth from 20 yards.
He has spent nine seasons at City, a period which has seen him win four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and a record six League Cups.
His 260 Premier League appearances moves him ahead of compatriot Willian, who played 259 times during his spells with Chelsea and Arsenal.
And his 184 wins is by far the best by any Brazilian in Premier League history – 36 more than Willian, who sits second with 148 victories.
Everyone at City would like to send their congratulations to our captain on a significant milestone.
