City’s derby fixture away to Manchester United in January has been selected for TV coverage, the Premier League have confirmed.

The date for the trip to Old Trafford remains the same – Saturday, January 14.

But the game will now kick-off at the earlier time of 12.30pm (UK) with the match being televised live on BT Sport.

However, the fixture will move to Sunday, 15 January, kick-off 12pm (UK) should either club be involved in the League Cup Fifth Round the preceding Thursday.

Minute-by-minute text updates will begin in our Matchday Centre two hours before kick-off, whilst our Matchday Live show, will start one hour before we get under way at Old Trafford.

The Matchday Live team will reconvene for a half-time debrief before a more in-depth post-match verdict after the full-time whistle.
