In the 68th minute, we were denied a superb second goal as De Bruyne drilled an effort towards the bottom corner, but the sprawling Matz Sels expertly sprung to palm the ball around the post.

However, two minutes later, substitute Erling Haaland was fed by De Bruyne, before twisting Murillo and slotting into the bottom corner with his right foot to double our lead and claim his 21st goal of the league campaign.
We remained cool, calm and professional for the remaining minutes to claim all three points at the City Ground, and move to within one point of league-leaders Arsenal, with a game in hand over the Gunners.
