And he then became the most profitable FPL player so far this season thanks to his spellbinding hat-trick against Marco Silva’s side last time out.
In the 5-1 victory he also registered an assist which saw him record a staggering individual tally of 20 points which raised his overall total to 39 at present.
Joining Haaland in having a strong start to the campaign is Julian Alvarez who is the second highest performing striker in the game so far.
The Argentine has proved himself to be one of the most consistent performers for FPL managers at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign with a total of 28 points to date.
With an assist in the result at Burnley, before scoring the only goal of the game against Newcastle he recorded 12 points in total before adding a further two at Bramall Lane.
But against Fulham he was at his scintillating best by scoring and registering two assists at the Etihad Stadium which added a further 14 points to his current total.
Other notable FPL mentions within Guardiola’s ranks go to Rodrigo and Nathan Ake who have rewarded those who have selected them.
The Spain international is currently the eighth highest scoring player in the game with a total of 27 after he has scored two goals and registered an assist so far this term.
And our defender is City’s highest points scoring defender with 17 after he netted his maiden goal of the season against Fulham last time out.
