Bournemouth have struggled to defend such situations this season, conceding a league-high 74 headers.
The hosts’ toils in attack also looks encouraging for a Man City clean sheet on Saturday evening.
They have scored just three goals in their eight matches since the season resumed.
ONE TO WATCH
Dominic Solanke (£5.5m) will, nonetheless, be Bournemouth’s main threat.
The forward has been involved in nine goals this season, scoring three and assisting a further six.
