City's trophy-laden era under Pep Guardiola wonderfully continued throughout 2022/23 as we historically won the Treble.

The first of the three major honours magnificently collected was, of course, the Premier League crown.

After an exhilarating title race with Arsenal, we sealed our third successive league title with three matches to spare in May.

Throughout the campaign there were a swathe of tremendous individual displays which translated into Fantasy Premier League points for managers across the country.

Find out who City’s highest performing players in FPL last season were below...

ERLING HAALAND

Following a phenomenal debut season in English football, it perhaps comes as no surprise to see Erling Haaland finish the season as the highest scoring FPL player.

The striker scored a record-breaking 36 Premier League goals in a single season, while assisting a further nine goals for his teammates.

His incredible efforts over the season saw him reach 272 points, a new FPL record for a City player and the sixth highest points tally in the game’s history.

The Norwegian proved to be a must-have asset and featured in 78.4% of players’ teams, more than any other player.

Haaland also ranked in as the most influential and threatening player in the league, which according to the FPL’s ICT index, made him most likely to score in each gameweek and directly affect the outcome of each result.

PHIL FODEN

Phil Foden proved yet again how valuable he is to this City side this season.

In what was another season of immense progression for our Academy graduate, he earned the highest points tally of his career so far, with a grand tally of 142.

The talented midfielder recorded 11 Premier League goals this season, a new personal best, as well as seven assists.

A first hattrick of his City career led to his highest scoring display in our epic 6-3 win against Manchester United in October, with 19 points.

He proved to be a solid selection for the 9.7% of players who opted for his FPL services, earning an average of 4.4 points per game, the 11th highest in the league.

RIYAD MAHREZ

Another strong season for Riyad Mahrez saw him record the fifth highest points total in the City squad (126) scoring five goals and providing 12 assists for his side.

His most memorable performance of the season, in terms of FPL points, came in the comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur in January, where he scored twice and registered an assist in the 4-2 win, earning 17 points.

Interestingly, this was the ninth consecutive season in which the Algerian has recorded more than 100 points in FPL.

KEVIN DE BRUYNE

Kevin De Bruyne had another standout season in midfield for City, displaying his quality and consistency yet again.

The Belgian midfielder scored 7 goals while recording the most assists in the league with 18, taking his total points tally to an impressive 183.

He consistently proved to be good value to the 25.5% of players who had selected him, with his average of 5.7 points per game leaving him with the fourth highest in the league.

In terms of creativity, only two players scored higher than De Bruyne in the FPL’s ICT index, highlighting how valuable his presence is to his teammates.

ILKAY GUNDOGAN

In what turned out to be his final season at the club, Ilkay Gundogan made sure it was nothing less than a special send-off.

The German midfielder enjoyed a strong end to the season, scoring four of his eight Premier League goals in the final five gameweeks, while a total of six assists was his personal best since arriving at the Club in 2016.

With 132 points, Ilkay earned the fourth highest City total in and had his best display in the 3-0 win at Everton in May where he contributed to all three goals, scoring twice and assisting the other.
