Following the heartbreaking news of City legend Francis Lee’s passing, view a selection of imagery from his glittering career with the Club.

Francis made 330 appearances for City, scoring 148 goals and winning a swathe of major honours including one First Division title, one FA Cup, one League Cup, a European Cup Winners’ Cup and two Charity Shields.

He then later returned as chairman in 1994 and was at the helm for four years.

Lee’s legacy on and off the pitch will be everlasting and he will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
