Gallery: Ramping up for pre-season finale

The City squad took part in a gym session in Seoul, Korea before taking to the pitch ahead of our final pre-season friendly.

Pep Guardiola‘s team are finalising preparations ahead of the friendly against Atletico Madrid at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul on Sunday 30 August, with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 (UK).

It’s been a positive Tour of Asia for City as we have won both pre-season matches that took place in Tokyo, Japan before travelling to South Korea.

HOW TO FOLLOW CITY’S 2023 ASIA TOUR

A 5-3 win over Yokohama F. Marinos followed by a 2-1 win over Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have been key to City being match fit for our first competitive game of the 2023/24 season - our Community Shield match against Arsenal on Sunday 6 August.

And with our game against Atletico Madrid on the horizon, Guardiola‘s squad have continued to up their fitness regime in the gym.

The team took part in a gym session before slipping on their football boots to take to the grass for some ball-related training.
