Goals from Rayan Cherki and Haaland either side of a Kai Havertz equaliser propelled Pep Guardiola’s side to three crucial Premier League points.
The win means we move just three points behind the Gunners with a game in hand, putting the Premier League title race firmly in our own hands.
With six league games left, as well as a FA Cup semi-final next weekend, Haaland wants everyone to remain determined and concentrated for the final stretch of the campaign.
“I was quite happy, I have to be honest. It was a great moment for me. A great win,” said Haaland in an interview after the game.
“I think it’s always like this, lots of fighting and these kind of things. What can I say, it’s always nice.

“It’s for others to decide if I won the battle or not. In that moment of the goal I won it. It was a good cross, and the finish was perfect. I think it was a great goal and a decisive moment and in the end we won.
“Every game is a final. Now when we are done speaking here, it’s starting to prepare for Burnley. That game is as important as this one.
“We need to focus. We need to stay humble, don’t think too much and focus on the next game.”

Our towering striker also reserved special praise for captain Bernardo Silva, who was all over the pitch, helping in defence, dominating midfield and also looking menacing in attack.
“I think I remember that cross when he headed it out. I just told him he was like [Fabio] Cannavaro,” continued Haaland.
“Today Bernie, I’m not going to make you emotional, you were really good as usual.”
