The midfielder has penned a one-year contract with Pep Guardiola’s side, subject to international clearance, which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2025.
It represents the start of his second spell at the Club following his illustrious first period which saw him make 304 appearances and lift 14 major honours.
After captaining us to the Treble in 2022/23, he departed for Barcelona where he made 51 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish outfit during his single season there.
Now, he’s back at City and ready to write the next chapter in his story in sky blue.
