The legendary coach has been an integral part of the club’s backroom staff since 2009, with his knowledge and expertise helping City lift 16 domestic trophies under Roberto Mancini, Manuel Pellegrini and Pep Guardiola.
A hugely popular figure, Kidd made 128 appearances for the Club during his playing career and returned in a coaching capacity as Technical Development Manager in 2009.
Shortly after his arrival, Roberto Mancini appointed him assistant manager, with Kidd remaining a valuable part of the coaching team under Pellegrini and Guardiola in what has been the most successful period in the Club’s history.
In that time, our former striker has helped City win five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, six League Cups and three Community Shields.
