Ferran Torres scored as Spain beat Kosovo 3-1 in World Cup qualifying UEFA Group B.

Daniel Olmo gave La Roja the lead after 34 minutes – and two minutes later Torres doubled their advantage.

Besar Halimi halved the deficit in the second half, but Gerard Moreno made it 3-1 with 15 minutes left to play.

Eric Garcia also started for Luis Enrique’s side, with Rodri a second-half substitute.

Spain top Group B, with seven points from their opening three matches.

John Stones, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling all started at Wembley as England made it three wins from three in Group I with a 2-1 victory over Poland.

Harry Kane put England ahead with a penalty after 19 minutes, but Stones’ mistake in possession saw Poland equalise in the second half through Jakub Moder.

The centre-back made amends, though, when he won a backpost header to set up Harry Maguire, who lashed home the winner five minutes from time.
