The Club’s new signing was presented to supporters at the Etihad Stadium on Monday, where he answered questions, gave away signed merchandise and posed for photographs with those in attendance.
Earlier, Grealish had addressed the media in his first press conference, where he revealed a multitude of factors convinced him to sign for City and, speaking to the fans, he acknowledged just how important European football was to him.
“I have said a few times how much I want to play Champions League football and I just can’t wait to hear that anthem,” he explained.
“One of the reasons the club has brought me here is to challenge for the Champions League. They were so close last year and I feel I can add that firepower in attack.
“That is one thing I am desperate to win and to keep hold of the Premier League.”
Our new No.10 also took the opportunity to express his gratitude for the warm welcome he has received since his move was confirmed.
“Thank your for the welcome,” he said.
“For those at who were at Wembley the other day, I had a brilliant welcome from all City fans, so I want to say thank you for that.”
