The England international provided one of the highlights of Tuesday’s magnificent 7-0 win against the Yorkshire side by rising to power home a superb first half effort.
It ended a three-month goal drought and, somewhat remarkably, also represented Grealish’s first-ever Premier League headed goal.
But, ahead of Sunday’s latest Premier League trip to Newcastle, the summer signing revealed how he was confident there were plenty more such goals in the offing.

“I am working on [scoring goals] and we were actually doing it the day before (the Leeds game) in training at the end, just doing crossing and finishing,” Grealish revealed.
“I surprised myself with a few [headers] and I scored a few.
“I missed one at Watford a few weeks back. The ball had come in from a corner, I was free on my own in the middle of the box, but it went straight into the hands of the goalkeeper.
“To get myself on the scoresheet and to do it with a header, which obviously I don’t do a lot of, it was perfect.
“It is something I feel like I can keep working with, especially being a winger and the way we play here as there are so many crosses that come into the box.
“I think it is something I can carry on improving on and, hopefully, it is the first of many here.”
The Leeds goal took Grealish’s tally for the season to three with the attacking winger - a summer signing from Aston Villa - also having provided three assists to date.

But though acknowledging the importance of statistics in gauging his impact, Grealish also said that they didn’t always tell the full story.
Grealish was also in no doubt that with such richly talented players around him at City, his overall game would only continue to go from strength to strength this term.
And he revealed he was also keen to expand on his dribbling prowess... a standout feature of his time at Villa.
“I think they (stats) are important because, at the end of the day, that is what people look at such as how many goal involvements us attackers have,” the 26-year-old added.
“Especially when you come to a club with the price tag that I did.
“If you don’t get some [goals and assists] for a few games, then everyone starts to talk.
“I think they are important but there will be times where you are playing well and the goals and assists just aren’t coming.

“That is what I have felt like that recently.
“In the Watford game the other day, I could have scored about four or five and I came off the pitch with nothing. Even the Leeds game, we scored seven goals as well and I only got one.
“I wouldn’t say I have changed and I don’t want to change the way I have played my whole career.
“That dribbling stat [dribbling less this season], that is something I need to pick up on again and start doing because that is something I was doing the most when I was at Villa last year.
“I definitely need to pick up on that again, but I don’t think you can read too much into stats like that. I think the main ones are the goals and the assists.
“They are the ones I am trying to work on the most.
“I am just trying to keep improving all of the time and I know for a fact that the longer I am here the more I will improve.”
With the season fast approaching the halfway point, City have made a hugely encouraging fist of things so far.
We lead the way in the Premier League and are also through to the last 16 of the Champions League.
And Grealish is adamant that given the quality and depth within the City squad, he was confident the reigning Premier League champions could go on to secure more silverware this season.
“We have so much talent here and so many good players. I really think that we could go all the way in a few competitions this year,” Grealish added.
“I think so [we can win it all]. I obviously don’t want to put too much pressure on the team.
“That is what I have come here for, to win trophies, so hopefully come the end of the season I will have a few medals around my neck.”
