The 22-year-old goalkeeper previously spent eight years progressing through our youth ranks before moving to Burnley in 2023.
He gained Premier League experience in his first season at Turf Moor before playing a key role in helping them back to the top-flight last term.

That included conceding just 16 goals in 45 appearances and keeping an English record 29 clean sheets throughout the campaign.
Now, he’s back at City to help Pep Guardiola’s side compete for the biggest trophies in the game.
After agreeing terms, he came to the CFA to sign on the dotted line and complete all the formalities.
Then it was time for media duties, as he sat down for a City Studios interview and posed in his new kit ahead of the 2025/26 season.
