Manchester City have secured Joao Cancelo’s services for a further two years after the full-back signed a contract extension which keeps him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2027.
Since then, Cancelo has developed into one of the finest full-backs in the game, evolving the position with his outstanding attacking qualities, which mean he is equally adept at scoring and creating chances as he is at stopping them.
The Portugal international has made 106 appearances in his two and a half years in Manchester, winning two Carabao Cups and the 2020-21 Premier League title.
