John Stones has been shortlisted for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week award after his hugely impressive display against Atletico Madrid in Wednesday's quarter-final second leg tie.
The England central defender produced a superb performance at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium to help City secure a goalless draw and so record a 1-0 aggregate victory over the Spanish champions.
City’s reward for what was a composed and disciplined performance in the Spanish capital is a semi-final assignment against Real Madrid.
