Gvardiol followed in the footsteps of Croatian compatriot, Mateo Kovacic, in joining City ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, signing a five-year contract earlier today.
And the welcome mat was rolled out for the talented and tenacious centre-half as he got to know his surroundings on his contract and content day.
Gvardiol, who arrives from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, put pen to paper on his deal in sky blue and then headed into our studio to capture video and photography for his arrival announcement.

He conducted a video interview with City Studios for mancity.com and our official app and then posed for photographs to be used across our digital estate.
