City’s Josko Gvardiol and Phil Foden are both up for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week award after their respective efforts in Tuesday’s pulsating 3-3 quarter-final first leg tie away at Real Madrid.
In what was an enthralling, all-time European classic, Foden capped a wonderful all-round performance by rifling home a stunning second half strike at the Santiago Bernabeu to level the scores at 2-2.
And Croatian defender Gvardiol then followed suit by powering home another fine strike to register his first goal since joining City last summer and move us back in front before Real levelled again late on.
Foden and Gvardiol are also up against Raphina of Barcelona and Federico Valverde of Real Madrid.
Voting closes at 11am (UK) on Friday, April 12. Good luck to Josko and Phil!
