The EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 Future Stars cohort has been revealed and we’re delighted to reveal FIFA World Cup Winner and City’s own, Julian Alavarez takes his place in this year’s squad selection.
Future Stars is the annual celebration of the wonderkids poised to take The World’s Game by storm. Former Future Stars have gone on to win league titles and even hoist international trophies – the latter particularly fitting for our very own Future Star and World Cup champion Julián Álvarez.
Indeed, EA SPORTS™ have a strong track record of spotting the young talent that have gone on to make a splash on the world’s biggest stage, and there has been no shortage of Manchester City inclusion in recent years.
Phil Foden spearheaded the FIFA 19 Future Stars line up; and was followed in subsequent years by talisman Erling Haaland (FIFA 20) and our rock at the back Ruben Dias (FIFA 21).
