The Brazilian forward moved to City in April 2021 and quickly went on to make his Elite Development Squad debut later that year and was a key figure in our Premier League 2 title-winning campaign of 2021/22.
That 2021/22 season would also see the now 21-year-old make his senior debut for the Club in our 4-1 FA Cup third round win at Swindon in January 2022.
Aged 19 at the time, Kayky then went on to make his Premier League bow, again taking to the pitch as a substitute, in City’s 4-0 triumph over Norwich the following month.
The agile, left-footed winger then spent the first half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan with Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira before a subsequent season-long loan at City Football Group sister club Bahia where he made 10 league appearances before a long-term injury kept him sidelined for the rest of the campaign.
Now fully fit, Kayky will be looking to continue his development in the Netherlands’ top division.
Everyone at the Club wishes Kayky all the best during his loan spell with Sparta Rotterdam.
