The Belgian’s two magnificent strikes against Crystal Palace saw him become just the 18th man in our Club’s history to reach three figures for goals scored.
The milestone comes in his 372nd appearance for the Club, having already amassed 166 assists across all competitions.
One of the greatest midfielders in the game’s history, De Bruyne has been integral to a golden period for the Club which has culminated in us holding the Big Five trophies – Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Midway through his ninth season in Manchester, the 32-year-old has won 14 major honours with City.
His greatest scoring season came in 2021/22 when he found the net 19 times - 15 times in the league alone - as he earned his fourth Premier League title.
He’s scored at least 10 goals in six of his eight seasons at City, with his lowest tally of six coming in the injury affected campaign of 2018/19.
In total, he has scored 67 Premier League goals, 15 in the Champions League, 10 in the Carabao Cup and eight in the FA Cup.
City fans all over the world will remember crucial strikes against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United on the way to Premier League title successes as well as Champions League semi-final finishes against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
While he has contributed significantly by putting the ball in the net himself, his scoring tally stands alongside his first love – assisting team-mates.
Last season De Bruyne set the record for the quickest player in Premier League history to 100 assists when he hit the figure in just 237 games.
That was an incredible 56 games faster than previous record holder Cesc Fabregas. He is now third all-time for assists in Premier League history.
