De Bruyne and Jesus were both in fine form as Pep Guardiola’s men went unbeaten in the league in April, winning four of our five games and claiming a crucial draw against title rivals Liverpool in the other.

The Belgian midfielder produced a series of typically classy displays in his four appearances.

He scored twice and provided three assists, including a brilliant effort in a 2-0 eclipse of Burnley, whilst his man of the match performance was the catalyst for our 3-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Jesus was in red-hot form throughout April, during which he scored six times in five games.

Four of those goals came in an outstanding display against Watford, when he also provided an assist to become the second City player after Sergio Aguero to directly contribute to five goals in a single Premier League match.
