Kevin De Bruyne has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for January.

The Belgian has already been crowned the Etihad Player of the Month for his exploits back in the side after five months out.

He made two substitute appearances in the FA Cup but it was a match-changing display at Newcastle and a delightful assist against Burnley that caught the eye in the Premier League.

With just two league games in the month due to the winter break, there was limited time to make an impact.

However, our man made the most of it when he came off the bench at St James’ Park for his first Premier League appearance since August.

He drew us level with a cool finish before an exquisite pass in added time set up Oscar Bobb for the winner.

The 32-year-old was in the starting lineup against Burnley and capped a dominant evening with a clever free-kick that deceived the Clarets defence to set up Julian Alvarez.

He’s nominated for this month’s award alongside Connor Bradley and Diogo Jota of Liverpool, Spurs striker Richarlison, Arsenal defender Gabriel and Luton Town’s Elijah Adebayo.

Click here to vote for him before the deadline at 12:00 (UK) on Monday 12 February.

The winner will be announced on Friday 16 February.

Good luck, Kevin!
