The duo proved to be hugely influential figures in Manchester City’s title triumph and their fine form has seen them included on the eight-man shortlist for the annual prize.
De Bruyne, who won last season’s award, remained one of the competition’s most dangerous attacking threats, directly contributing to 18 goals in a campaign disrupted by injury.
Restricted to just 25 appearances, the Belgian midfielder scored six goals and ranked joint second and third respectively for assists (12) and chances created (80).
Dias, who was named Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year and Etihad Player of the Season, enjoyed a superb debut campaign.
His commanding displays made him a mainstay in a City team which boasted the best defensive record in the league, helping Pep Guardiola’s side to 15 clean sheets in his 32 games.
De Bruyne and Dias are up against Bruno Fernandes, Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, Mason Mount, Mohamed Salah and Thomas Soucek.
You have until 6pm on Thursday 3 June to vote for Kevin or Ruben and the winner will be announced at 11am on Saturday 5 June.
