MEN’S SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW
The Premier League has confirmed the summer transfer window in England will run for 12 weeks from Wednesday 9 June and will close at 11pm on Tuesday 31 August.
France, Spain and Germany will also work to the same timeframe.
PREMIER LEAGUE 2021/22 START and end DATES
The 2021/22 Premier League season will start on August 14 2021.
The season will conclude on Sunday 22 May 2022. Can City successfully defend our crown?
PREMIER LEAGUE 2021/22 FIXTURE RELEASE DATE
The fixtures for the next Premier League season will be released at 9:00 (UK time) on Wednesday 16 June 2021 - five days after the Euros begin.
There will be 38 matchdays and a total of 380 fixtures confirmed on fixture release day, though they will be subject to change based on TV schedules.
The Premier League 2 and U-18 Premier League fixtures will also be released on the same day.

MEN’S EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament will take place between June 11 and July 11 2021.
14 City players are involved, representing seven nations:
- England: Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Kyle Walker
- Belgium: Kevin De Bruyne
- Germany: Ilkay Gundogan
- Netherlands: Nathan Ake
- Portugal: Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva
- Spain: Aymeric Laporte, Rodrigo and Ferran Torres
- Ukraine: Oleksandr Zinchenko.
COPA America
The South American championships begin on Sunday 13 June, with the final scheduled for 10 July.
Ederson and Gabriel Jesus were both called up to Brazil’s preliminary squad.
FA COMMUNITY SHIELD 2021/22
While the date and kick-off time for the Community Shield is not yet set in stone, it’s expected to take place on Saturday 7 August, with City taking on FA Cup winners Leicester City.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP STAGE DRAW
The teams will be drawn into eight groups of four teams on Thursday 26 August, with no teams from the same association able to be drawn against each other.
Olympics: WOMEN’S FOOTBALL
The women’s Olympic football tournament (OFT) of the Tokyo 2020 Games will run from 21 July to 6 August 2021.
Team GB head coach Hege Riise named her 18-player squad on Thursday 27 May which included 11 from City, three from Chelsea, two from Arsenal and another two from overseas.
They have been drawn out in Group E alongside host nation Japan, Canada and Chile for their initial group games at the tournament, which will be held at the Sapporo Stadium.
Team USA will face Sweden, as well as New Zealand and Australia.
UEFA Women’s CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW
City will enter the 2021/22 tournament in Round Two of the qualifying stage. The draw will be held on Sunday 22 August, with the fixtures being played on:
First leg: 31 August/1 September
Second leg: 8/9 September
Should City progress, the group stage draw will be held on 13 September 2021.
The final will be held at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on Sunday 22 May 2022.
