Kevin De Bruyne has left a mark on football fans during a stunning 10-year spell on the pitch at Manchester City.

And now he’s made a splash off the field with a large-scale mural today unveiled of the midfield ace in Manchester city centre.

The mural, depicting undoubtedly one of the greatest players ever to play for the Blues, takes pride of place on the corner of Thomas Street and High Street in the Northern Quarter.

The installation, started on Monday morning and completed on Wednesday afternoon, features every trophy he has won during his time at City.

The now wonder wall also includes the words ‘Ooohhh Kevin De Bruyne’, the chant belted out by our supporters to the tune of Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes as well as a crown, the regal addition earned during a decade of unbelievable service to the football club.

If you want to see it in all its glory, it will be place until the end of Wednesday 28 May.

It’s been commissioned with De Bruyne set to leave City, with our home game against Bournemouth next Tuesday providing fans the opportunity to say a fond farewell to the brilliant playmaker.

There will be activity at the game in honour of KDB and our matchday programme is a special edition dedicated to the Premier League legend.
