Kyle Walker and Rodrigo have both been recognised for their stellar performances en route to Manchester City being named FIFA Club World Cup champions.

A Julian Alvarez brace, Phil Foden strike and an own goal earned a deserved 4-0 triumph over Fluminense in Friday evening’s final in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

City were in control throughout proceedings, with Alvarez opening the scoring after just 39 seconds against the Copa Libertadores winners.

Our fifth major honour of 2023, Pep Guardiola’s men became the first side in English football to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup simultaneously.

Spain international Rodrigo scooped the Adidas Golden Ball prize, with his typical blend of style and substance in the heart of midfield seeing him named the best player at the tournament.

Walker captained City to glory at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, and his defensive exploits earned him the Adidas Silver Ball award.

Fluminense’s Jhon Arias, meanwhile, completed the top three by winning the Bronze Ball.

Congratulations to Kyle and Rodrigo on their individual awards!
