Erling Haaland netted a festive double to help City to a 3-1 Premier League victory over Leeds United at Elland Road.

Pep Guardiola‘s men dominated the possession and chances, and eventually broke the deadlock deep into first-half stoppage time through Rodrigo‘s cool finish under Illan Meslier.

Our number nine stole the show in the second-half, netting twice in quick succession, assisted twice by the lively Jack Grealish.

The goals see Haaland create history as the Norwegian becomes the fastest player to reach 20 Premier League goals, attaining the tally in just 14 matches. 

With just over 15 minutes remaining, the hosts pulled a goal back through Pascal Struijk’s expert header from six yards.

The victory sees us rise back into second place in the Premier League table, two points ahead of Newcastle United and five points behind leaders Arsenal.
