Professional British tennis player and City fan Liam Broady joins hosts Rob Pollard and Nedum Onuoha for the latest episode.
Among the topics of conversation, he talks about going to Wimbledon as a fan during his early years, and how that has helped him understand how to entertain spectators when he takes to the court.
At the time of recording, the Stockport-born star was recovering from a stress fracture in his ankle, but he passed a late fitness test in time to feature at this year’s tournament, which is moving into its second week.
Broady also discusses the upcoming Davis Cup match set to take place in Manchester in September and of course there’s plenty of City chat including recreating Jack Grealish’s celebration after a win at Wimbledon last year and playing Riyad Mahrez.
It’s another fascinating episode and is now available to listen to on all popular streaming platforms as well as still being available to watch on CITY+ for all subscribers.
