City’s superb win away at Chelsea last Saturday has won the LMA Performance of the Week Award.

The League Managers Association panel who chose the winner is comprised of LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Paul Ince, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry and Rachel Yankey.

It’s an experienced and highly distinguished panel on football experts who have managed a combined total of over 6,500 competitive matches in professional football.

Pep Guardiola will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LMA Performance of the Week trophy.

The win at Stamford Bridge saw City move up to second in the Premier League table.

It was a performance full of graft and hard work, as well as moments of wonderful attacking football.

Gabriel Jesus‘ deflected strike won it for City, who thoroughly deserved the victory having dominated proceedings.

It was Guardiola’s 221st win as City boss – more than any other manager in the Club’s history.

Congratulations to Pep, his staff and all the players.
