A 3-0 victory over Arsenal ensured City’s long-awaited return to Premier League action ended triumphantly in what was our first game for more than three months.
Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden got the goals for Pep Guardiola’s side, who motored through the gears with a performance that looked like we’d never been away.
CITY FANS | We need your feedback
But we had, for 101-days, which is why the game was so significant.
With no fans in the stadium, a host of new rules and regulations, poignant tributes and powerful messages, this was a landmark moment in English football.
The new normal provided a vastly different matchday experience, but it is an experience that has been missed and watching City play again was certainly something to enjoy.
Thousands of you joined us for our live pre and post-match show We’re Not Really Here, presented by Cel Spellman and Kyle Walker (not that one), whilst plenty of fans gave their living rooms a City feel to celebrate the return.
We loved seeing all your efforts and, of course, the performance out on the pitch.
You can see below how some of our fans, players and former players reacted to our Premier League restart…
