The Blues’ final assignment of 2025/26 - a Premier League clash with Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium - represented the final time the Catalonian took charge of the Club.
It was to bring the curtain down on an illustrious era under Guardiola who led us to 20 major trophies since his arrival in the summer of 2016.
Bernardo and Stones - two of his most trusted lieutenants during that time - were also to call time on their City careers after the meeting with the Villans with a combined 754 appearances between them in sky blue.
On the pitch, Antoine Semenyo’s strike on the final day was overturned by an Ollie Watkins’ double as Unai Emery’s side prevailed 2-1.
Following the full-time whistle, though, supporters, staff and teammates alike came together to thank Guardiola, Stones and Bernardo for their wonderful contributions to City’s success across the past 10 years.
What’s more, there were special appearances from Ederson and Ilkay Gundogan who also said goodbye to the Etihad faithful.
