Our 3-1 victory away at Everton means we move clear of Bolton Wanderers, who managed nine league wins in a row at the start of 1904, and Manchester United, who began 2009 with nine on the bounce.
Our 10 straight Premier League successes in 2021 forms part of an even more impressive story for Pep Guardiola’s side.
City are now 24 games unbeaten in all competitions, with our last defeat coming on November 21 away at Spurs. We’ve conceded just seven goals in that period.
And it’s now a remarkable 17 wins in a row in all competitions!
The win at Goodison Park moves City 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table after 24 matches.
We are also through to the FA Cup quarter-final stage and have booked our place in a fourth-consecutive Carabao Cup final, where we will play Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday 25 April.
And our Champions League campaign resumes next week as we face Borussia Monchengladbach in the first leg of our last-16 tie.
Everyone at City would like to send their congratulations to Pep, his backroom staff and the players on another significant milestone – and we wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.
