Erling Haaland and four other members of Pep Guardiola’s squad’s values were released as part of the first wave of price reveals.
Now, with just over a month until the Premier League campaign kicks off, the full FPL list has been announced which involves 28 sky blue heroes – including summer signing Mateo Kovacic.
Following an outstanding maiden season at the Etihad Stadium last term, perhaps it’s unsurprising Haaland is our most expensive player on the upcoming game.
At £14m, the Norwegian is valued higher than any other figure within the top flight - and has equalled the record for highest costing player ever alongside Robin van Persie (2013/14), Cristiano Ronaldo (2008/09) and Thierry Henry (2005/06 & 2006/07).
Following a season where Kevin De Bruyne surpassed 100 Premier League assists, he’s not far behind Haaland’s price at £10.5m, while Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez complete our top five (all valued at £7.5m).
Between the sticks, three-time Premier League Golden Glove winner Ederson is City’s most expensive goalkeeper with a fee of £5.5m, whereas Stefan Ortega Moreno is valued at £4.0m.
Watertight defensive duo John Stones and Ruben Dias are both valued at £5.5m, while backline colleagues Nathan Ake, Manuel Akanji and Kyle Walker cost £5.0m, respectively.
Alongside De Bruyne, Grealish, Foden and Mahrez - our two highest appearance makers last term, Rodrigo (56) and Bernardo Silva (55), are valued at £5.5m and £6.5m.
And our new number eight and our first summer 2023 signing – Mateo Kovacic has been priced at £5.0m.
Following a tremendous first season in sky blue, where he scored 17 goals in all competitions, Julian Alvarez has held his value from last term (£6.5m).
Finally, a swathe of promising Academy graduates are also available for managers to elect, including Rico Lewis (£4.5m), Cole Palmer (£5.0m), Shea Charles (£4.5m) and Oscar Bobb (£4.5m).
