Pep Guardiola’s side welcome the Whites to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 6 May, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 (UK).
And we enter the fixture on the back of 19 successive games unbeaten which has seen us climb to the Premier League’s summit with a precious game in hand over second placed Arsenal.
In our previous league assignment, we recorded a 3-0 victory over West Ham in what was a professional display at home.
After a hard-fought, goalless, first-half, Nathan Ake opened the scoring with a well-timed header before further strikes from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
The Norwegian’s sublime chipped effort represented his 35th league goal of 2022/23 – which makes him the Premier League’s all-time record goalscorer across a single season.
However, in what will be Sam Allardyce’s first match at the Leeds helm, three points are far from a formality at the Etihad.

CITY STAR
Julian Alvarez (£6.0m) has the form to deliver another huge haul as Manchester City entertain Leeds United in Gameweek 35 of Fantasy Premier League.
The Argentinean recorded a 12-point score against Fulham in the first match of Man City’s Double Gameweek 34, thanks to a goal and an assist.
Indeed, Alvarez has now produced a goal, an assist and a double-digit return in three of his last four league starts.
The 23-year-old has been a vital performer for Guardiola’s side since the season resumed in Gameweek 17.
He has produced five goals and three assists in just 730 minutes over that run.
Alvarez has been involved in a goal every 91.3 minutes from Gameweek 17 onwards, second only to the 66.2 minutes of Erling Haaland (£12.4m) for the league leaders.
With City’s UEFA Champions League first-leg semi-final clash with Real Madrid taking place just three days after the Leeds encounter, Alvarez could be handed a third successive start this weekend.
ONE TO WATCH
Patrick Bamford (£7.1m) is Leeds’ form player, with a goal and an assist over his last two away matches.
Differentials
Elsewhere, Newcastle United’s Joelinton (£6.0m) and Fulham’s Harry Wilson (£5.7m) offer managers in-form differentials.
Joelinton hosts Arsenal on the back of four goals and supplying two assists in his last six outings.
Wilson has two goals and an assist in the last four Gameweeks ahead of a home encounter with Leicester City.
